I don’t think there is a perfect family out there. Even the most calm and caring of people argue. Even the best of siblings fight. Even the most happy parents disagree. Families are struggles to keep together. If one person isn’t willing to strive for happiness, everything will come crashing down. That’s the beauty of it. You have to work for it, but by doing this, you build the bonds that hold you together. Families that stay together are the ideal families. They must be doing something right for things to have worked out. Yes, things will go wrong. Fights will happen. But it’s okay. It’s family. They will always be there for you. They love you.

My hero would have to be my daddy. He gives so much to my family. He has always been here for all of us. He goes to extreme lengths to make sure I am given every opportunity possible. No matter how high the mountain, he will climb it for me. I am so thankful to have him as my dad. He has had to overcome many challenges. He has not always had an easy life. He has had to give up a lot for my family. But he has never hesitated to do it. He would give me the world if he could. Yes he has made plenty of mistakes, but he always does his best to fix them. I could not ask for a better father and role model. He may not be perfect, but he is my dad and hero. http://studentfriends.edublogs.org/

I would rather see elephants running free in the wild than kept in small cages. In small cages, they stand still and hide from vistors. In the wild, they run free and have fun.

The color green is super important. It represents so many things. It can be used to represent the fight against global warming or the fight to save the forests. It’s the color of trees and plants. If your in Oregon, you’re surrounded by green. Green is fantastic!

Earth day is April 22nd. This day is extremely important. As or more important than the “hallmark” holidays. This is a day for our earth. Our home and all of the perks it comes with. But its also a day for change. A day for us to do something about the problems we have and are still creating. We’ve all had a part in creating these problems. We need to fix them. A great way to start is by reducing, reusing, and recycling. Consider this the next time your about to throw your plastic bottle away.

Sunday, when I was getting ready to go to Jacob’s house, I called Anna.
She did not answer, but called me back moments later.
This is how our conversation went:
“Hello?” I said.
“Hey, did you call?” Anna replied.
“Yeah, I’m going to Jacob’s soon and I was wondering if you would burn me the new Jonas Brother’s cd!” I exclaimed.
“Yeah, I’ll try but I don’t know where the cds are.” she said.
“Well I’ll bring you one if you don’t, I’ll see you in like 30 minutes.” I said.
“Okay, awesome!” She yelled.
Then we hung up.
But sadly neither of us had any.
THE END.

The podcast I found most intresting was Holes by Louis Sachar. It used different voices for different characters, which was very helpful. There was background music. There was sound effects too. The podcast also used quotes from the book. This made it more interesting than just a summary. But the summary parts were helpful to understand. The cliff hanger at the end was nice. If I hadn’t already read it, I would want to now. I may go and read it again.
